1 July 2011: AS-Call Conference Call with new Layout and new services
Mülheim, 1 July 2011 – Exactly 2 years after the start of AS-Call Conference Call, the portal presents itself in a new layout and offers more information about Conference Calls.
Simultaneously with the relaunch of the website, as-call.de now offers additional dial-in access numbers.
The initiator of an AS-Call Conference Call is now able to offer a toll-free 0800-access number, too. Participating in a conference call over 0800 is completely free of charge for the caller. 0800-access can be used only from German networks. The conference initiator meets all costs of 0800-calls.
Just the opposite is true for the new 01805 dial-in number. The price per minute paid by the participant dialling this access number (14 cents from the German fixed network, up to 42 cents from a German mobile networks) already includes the conference call costs. So there are no additional costs for the conference initiator, if the 01805 dial-in number is used. Likewise, using 01805 access can only be used from German networks.
As before, the German fixed-line number and the 23 international landline dial-in numbers can be used. All dial-in numbers can be combined in any way. When using the free invitation-tool of as-call.de, the conference initiator sets which access number will be communicated.

2 May 2011: Professional conference calls with up to 240 participants managed via the Internet
Mülheim, 2 May 2011 – "AS-Call Conference Call allows easy organization and technical management of Conference Calls with up to 240 Participants. Equipped with a dedicated telephone number in the German fixed network, the conference administrator can initiate conference calls, create virtual meeting rooms, invite participants with a few clicks automatically by e-mail/SMS and control the meetings as well as moderate.
This is an attractive offer for companies with multiple locations, because of significant cost advantages. AS-Call Conference Call saves travel costs and working time, meetings do not have to be handled face-to-face, but can be simple held over the phone.
How it works: Users of AS-Call Conference Call will get their own landline number in Germany, that can be communicated to the all participants for Conference Calls. Afterwards, the initiator can choose from two tariffs: The BASIC tariff offers up to three virtual conference rooms and a conference control via phone and the PROFESSIONAL tariff offers unlimited number of conference rooms and an expanded online conference control.
But the PROFESSIONAL version offers even more: The user gets access to a personal login area at www.as-call.de. Here he finds an easy-to-use online web interface to control and configure all conferences. For this the system offers, among other things, a live view of all current conference calls including all participants online. Additionally, the user is able to record all conferences (or parts of them) in the MP3 format by mouse-click. Finally there is an online statistic for an overview of the current cost.
