Which functions can a moderator use during a Conference Call?

A Conference Call with activated moderating in the BASIC or PROFESSIONAL tariff starts after the moderator logged in. Until the login of the moderator (or after leaving) all other participants will be put on music on-hold.

In the PROFESSIONAL tariff the moderator can use the Live-Webmanager with the following operator functions:

  • Switch a Conference Call participant to silent / to talk
  • Remove a Conference Call participant from the conference
  • Receive a request to speak from a Conference Call participant
  • Lock a Conference Call room
  • Record a Conference Call conversation

The Live-Webmanager offers a visual description of the Conference Call room and its participants.

You can also use various functions via the telephone keypad. By pressing the asterisk key [ * ] you get to a menu where you have the following options:

  • [ 0 ] muting on/off for all other participants
  • [ 1 ] own muting on/off
  • [ 2 ] close/open conference room
  • [ 3 ] disconnect the last participant
  • [ 4 ] turn other participants down
  • [ 5 ] request to speak (only available in PROFESSIONAL tariff)
  • [ 6 ] turn other participants up
  • [ 7 ] turn own voice down
  • [ 8 ] leave volume settings
  • [ 9 ] turn own voice up
